Josh Aerie is an experienced session player and string arranger with numerous recordings, film, and television work to his credit.

Playing both electric and acoustic cello, he has performed in major venues from L.A.'s best clubs to the country's best concert halls.

Josh is available for studio sessions, tours, arrangements, and live performances. Services offered include complete string production, contracting, and recording.

Josh has appeared as electric and acoustic cellist at venues such as the House of Blues, Hard Rock Café, the Roxy, B.B. King's, the Hotel Café, The Joint, the Save-Mart Center, the HP Pavilion, the Oakland Collesium, Tanglewood, the Walt Disney Concert Hall, and the National Cathedral.

He has performed on nationally-syndicated, live TV with the Crystal Cathedral Orchestra and Jazz Ensemble, and recorded promotional tracks for MTV.

He has done session work for various films (including Iwo Jima: Memories in Sand; Three Down; Soccer Moms), recording artists (including Blue Meridian; Vanessa Jourdan; One Nation; Rob Getzschman), and the Novo Philharmonic.

He is experienced in arranging strings for pop, rock, folk, metal, hip-hop, jazz, and Christian-contemporary. Production credits include samples for Calindastan, Inc. (Miami and L.A.).

He collaborated with the University of California, Riverside's Department of Dance on an original work for dancer and improv cello, has performed as solo cellist with the Oberlin Contemporary Music Ensemble, and toured California venues with Andrea Bocelli.

He can be heard prominently on the albums The String Quartet Tribute to Phish and The String Quartet Tribute to Santana, released in 2004 on the Vitamin Records label.
